• Description: This is a song I wrote to get me through a depressed period in my life. It was aimed at a close friend who I felt betrayed me deeply, who figuratively "tore my heart out" and "left me to bleed". It's about how I thought if I held on we could make it through together and be as close as we had been. But in the end, I realized that I couldn't hold on without further ruining our broken bond so I gave up and life went on for her. When I wrote this I thought I'd never be okay again.

Even before reading the lyrics, this giant monster was floating before my vision (yes, pain-med induced visions). Well, it was more of a cartoon character with his/her guts floating out of his/her mouth and now that I read that, I decicded it fit perfectly.
