Lost in the endless sea
People missing in my life
left with no grandparents
growing ever more

Emotions flooding the gates
Pushing on going along
wondering now what to do
Growing ever more

Stuck in a rut
my poem so lame
my grandparents my muse
Growing ever more

my first year of school misses
my youngest brothers they never knew
my first day of high school never known
Growing ever more

the first home run
my first real boy friend
my poems never known
Growing ever more

my high school graduation
my years through collage
my wedding day
Growing ever more

Never to meet my future family
to see my future life
wishing that they could have held on
Growing ever more

knowing they want me to go on
knowing i should never have a frown
knowing all along they guide me every day
Growing ever more
