Hello, little bird
Are you afraid to fly?
Afraid to spread your golden wings
And take unto the sky?
Well, my little darling,
I'm quite frightened of it too;
But stick with me a while
And I'll surely see you through.
I'll be sure to take good care,
And shield you from the rain.
I'll guard you with my life, you'll see,
I'll suffer all your pain.
For, to see you fly
Would be the greatest sight!
Those golden wings of yours
Reflecting the sun's light.
I believe you'll greet the sky
Sooner than you think
Because I believe in you, my bird
You're my missing link.
Through your eyes I see wonders,
Through your ears I hear
The world's most guarded secrets,
And its inner fears.
So fly, fly, my golden dove!
I hope you find your way...
But, my little darling,
Please return to me one day.

- Then again, you only use "gold" three times, and when Julio Cortozar wrote Axolotl, he describes their eyes as being golden, when they're actually not; this is similar. :3

- Not you best work, dearie. A mechanical detail-- I don't think that doves have golden wings. You use "golden" more than once-- it gets a bit redundant. I also don't really like "The world's most guarded secrets/And its inner fears." It seems too much like a cop-out for describing what your little bird can actually bring to you.
