I close my eyes
and hold on tight
I see you with me
you’re in plain sight

I’ve held you in my arms
a million times
for I am yours
and you are mine

Forever you are with me
until our eternities end
our love keeping us together
forever with you my time I spend

Only to open my eyes again
to see you are not there
I lay down alone
and in the mirror I stare

To see my lonely reflection
but someone else is here
your reflection lies next to mine
as in my heart you are closer than you appear
