Men march west with dreams of seeing the coast.
America beats Mexico and more land does it boast.
New frontiers open for those who want opportunity
Indentured servants and slaves divide unity.
Females want rights for which they protest.
Evangelists agree, claiming rights are for the best.
Slaves escape using a railroad with hopes of freedom.
To the north is the promised kingdom.
Denizens of the south make money with cotton.
Enraged they become when the slaves start a walkin’.
Sent away are the Natives of the east.
Trail of tears caused by savage beasts.
Industry booms with the power of steam.
New engines allow boats upstream.
