• Madyrn awoke from his dreamworld to face the reality of the day... school had once again returned to ruin his life. He lazily glanced at the alarm clock "6:00 a.m." Time to get ready.He thought. Sliding out of bed he walked to the closet and pulled out a few items. Quickly he slipped on his clothes then left his room. at the top of the stairs he was greeted by the smell of bacon and the sound as it hit the pan. Walking at a quick pace he descended the stairs and entered the kitchen where his mother smiled back at him and said, "I knew this would get you up."
    Madyrn smirked and said," Who wouldn't get up for bacon."
    His mother continued smiling as she placed a plate of the crispy delicacy on the table in front of her son. "Hurry now or you'll miss your bus."

    Madyrn devoured the food as quickly as he could, then grabbing his backpack on the way he rushed outside just in time to see the bus ride by leaving him to walk to school. silently he cursed himself, first day and he was already going to be late.
