• Chapter 4: Sorrow, found

    Sorrow panted heavily from exaustion, he was close to passing out but remained strong. He was tired, but who'd let a homunclus at their place for rest? His feet soon gave out and he collapsed to the ground, landing on his right side. He imagined what Chaos would say to him if he seen him like this; "Geez, are you dead or do I have to carry you?", well something like that. He was running nonstop for the past day after Chaos told him to run away. He as farther away from central, worse he had no idea where he was. Sorrow stood back up and kept walking. He was near Rush Valley, he sighed and kept walking.

    From the spot where Alice shown the Elric brothers her alchemy, Alice streched her back and sighed in relief.
    "Thank goodness, Edward didn't break my back." said Alice.
    Edward sighed as Alice streched her back.
    "I said I'm sorry." said Edward.
    "Yeah, I know. I'm just glad my back didn't break...ow, that's going to hurt for a while." muttered Alice. While she streched her back, she noticed a figure near the entrance to Rush Valley.
    "Hey, who's that?" asked Alice after she streched her back.
    Edward glared at the figure, he was wary of the figure.
    "I have no idea, we don't know him." replied Edward.
    "Sure?" asked Alice.
    "We're sure." replied Alphonse.

    Sorrow had a quick glance at the three before collapsing again, this time passing out. Alice gasped and her eyes grew wide, she looked at Edward and Alphonse.
    "We gotta help him! He could be hurt or hungry!" cried Alice.
    "Why do we have to help?" asked Edward.
    Alice slapped Edward and glared at him.
    "How cold could you be? If you won't help, I will!" shouted Alice. She ran to help Sorrow, leaving the Elric brothers behind.
    "We should help, brother. He could be hurt." said Alphonse.
    Edward rubbed his cheek and sighed.
    "He's probably an enemy. I don't understand why we should." said Edward in reply.

    Later at Alice's house, Sorrow opened his eyes slowly and found himself on a bed. He slowly stood up but noticed Alice and the Elric brothers.
    "Told you, he wasn't an ally." said Edward.
    "Okay, okay I was wrong. Quit rubbing it in my face." said Alice.
    Sorrow noticed his tattoo was showing and he quickly hid it. Alice shook her head.
    "Too late for that, don't ya think?" asked Alice.
    Sorrow looked down and trembled. He was afraid, he was caught and he wasn't sure if he was about to be killed.
