• I woke up before Daisuke. I took the chance to get some work done. I didn't have a lot of time to spend for my spells, so I took the chance to experiment and finish old potions. But, more importantly, try out new spells. I lost track of time as I went through the books and tested out new magic. Only when did I hear someone yell did I realize what was going on around me. Daisuke just got scared by an Arachnid on one of the tables. I turned to see him inching away from it. "I thought you said they didn't come down here." he said. "Sorry, I needed her for something." I said, picking her up. "I'll get her upstairs." I told him. I brought her upstairs and came back down. "What are you working on?" Daisuke asked, looking around. "Spells, potions, magic, the usual." I said. "We should probably be getting back, Mr.Tanaka might have a mission for us or something." Daisuke said. I shook my head "He knows I come here, if he needed me, he would have come or called already." I explained. "Point taken." he said. "Can you do me a favor?" I asked. "Will it kill me?" he asked. "No." I said. "Okay than." he said. "Okay, I need you to drink this. "I said, handing him one of my potions. "Will it kill me?" he asked. "No." I said. "What will it do?" he asked. "Something." I said, giving it to him. "Why is it glowing?" he asked. "It's a potion filled with magic." I said. "True, but....oh whatever." he sighed, and drank it. "Okay, what just happened?" he asked. "Stay here." I said, went upstairs, got hold of a wolf spider and came back down stairs. "Close your eyes." I said. "Uh, okay." he said, closing them. I held the spider up close to his face "Okay, open them." I told him. He opened his eyes, instead of yelling in fear, he took the spider from my hands, and pet it. "I know I should be afraid, but I'm not. What did you do to me?" he asked, looking back at me. "I took away your fear of spiders." I admitted. "That's what you've been working on???" he asked. "That and a couple more things." I said. Daisuke looked at me, letting the spider crawl up his arm and on his shoulder. I held out my hand, the spider jumped from him back onto me. "What else can I help with?" Daisuke asked. "I am trying to perfect this spell, but I do need some help." I said, setting the spider down on the table. "What is it?" he asked. "The thing is though, it might kill you." I said. "I'm sure I'll be fine." Daisuke said. "Take off your shirt." I told him. "Wh-Why?" he asked. "Because I want to feel your abs....I'm not seriouse! I need to examine you to see if you'll be okay with the experiment!" I said when he started blushing madly at my sarcasm. He slipped off his shirt. I placed my hands along his chest. His skin was tough, and his bones were strong. I lifted my bangs out of the way of my eye. Staring closly at Daisuke's chest, I saw his soul in the form of a fire. It was bright, warm, and it made me melt. There was a strong feeling of will and strength in it. I got weaker and weaker using my eye to see it, but I couldn't look away. When my hand finally fell asleep and my bangs covered my eye again, I nearly fell over, but Daisuke caught me. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Yea." I said, blinking. Before I could speak, there was a knock on the basement door. "Who's that?" Daisuke asked. "Mr.Tanaka." I said, and went over to open the door, and sure enough, it was Mr.Tanaka.
