• "You aren't that bad of a kisser." I said. "Thank you." Kyo smiled. Instead of being in the garage this time, me and Kyo were waiting for everyone else in my room. It was a regular sized bed that could fit up to about two to three people. It had llight purple sheets and black blankets. My carpet was a light purple, my wall were black, my ceiling was light purple. My closet was purple, so was my desk. My laptop was black, my cellphone was light purple, so was my bookcase. My walls were covered in posters and pictures. "They said it's going to be hot outside." I said, looking out the window. He shivered. I found out vampires couldn't die from the sun, but it bothers them a lot, so they stay away from it a lot, that's how the rumor of how vampires couldn't go out in the sunlight started. Summer vacation had started the day before and we all agreed to go out together. We as in me, Kyo, ED, Arra, Leon, and Sora. They all wanted to go to the beach, me and Kyo were outnumbered. So, I was sitting on my bed in a skirt and tanktop with my batheingsuit underneath. It was black and light purple. Kyo was in a black t-shirt with long, baggy, black shorts. He had on a waterproof whatch, I had on a black, pyramid stud choker he bought for me. He reached up and moved some hair off my face. I smiled up at him. My boyfriend, my vampire. We kissed. His lips fit into mine perfectly. There was a knock on my door and in walked Yukimura, my little sister. She had long dark hair,light purple eyes, she was about 12 years old. "Your friends are here, Jubei." I nodded. "Thanks, Yukkie." I said. I stood up, Kyo stood after me. I got our bags and went down the stairs. "Hiya!" I said upon seeing everyone in my living room. Arra and Sora came up to me "Hiya, Jubei!" they said. "Where's Kyo?" Leon asked. Than Kyo appeared behind me. "He came early." I said. Kyo smiled "Hey." he said, waving. "So...what were you two doing up there all alone?" ED asked. "Nothing!" I said. "Making out." Kyo said. "I think I agree with Kyo." Arra said. I glared at Kyo, he looked a little guilty. "Can we go now?" Leon asked. Lately, I've been able to see more and more things Arra and Sora couldn't. Like now, a small ray of light followed Leon as he stood. I blinked and the light dissapeared. "Uh, yeah. Let's go!" I said. Kyo looked at me knowigly. He knew what was happening, but refused to tell me anything about it. Only "You're very special." This would piss me off daily. So, we left and went to the beach. It was pretty crowded, but we found a pretty good spot close to the ocean. Once the umbrella and towels were set up, I took off my skirt and shirt to reveal a black two-piece swimsuit. Arra had a pink and red striped two-piece bathing suit. Sora had a dark blue one-piece swimsuit. You can only imagine the cherry red faces of Leon, Kyo, ED, and most of the teen guys there. I sat down next to Kyo under the huge umbrella. Some of the guys glared at Kyo, ED, and Leon when we sat down next to them. "Wanna go to the water?" Arra asked ED. He grinned "Yea! Let's go!" he exclaimed and they went down to the water. "You wanna go?" Leon asked Sora. She smiled at him and nodded. So, they were the next to go down holding hands. "Do you want to go?" Kyo asked me. "Do you? Didn't you say the sun bothers......you?" I had to think of something else to say beside 'Vampires'. "Yea, but if you want to go, I don't mind." he said. "Well, if it bothers you, we don't have to go." I said. "I'll only go if you want to go." he said. "I'm not saying I want to go." I said. "So you want to stay?" he asked. "Only if you want to." I said. "So, let's stay." he said. I shrugged "Okay." I said. I plopped down on my back and on my hair. My bangs made it hard to see Kyo's blush as he looked down at me. "I thought Vs couldn't blush." I said, making up a code word for vampires. Kyo read my mind and got the code word easily. "What gave you that idea?" he asked. I shrugged "I thought because you were dead-" he cut me off. "We're not dead. We're born with life just as much as you are." he snapped. "Sorry, sorry. Didn't mean to offend you." I said. I reached for his hand and traced the lines on his palm. "No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you like that." he said. "It's okay." I said, holding his hand in both of mine. Kyo had slid his shirt off and although he really didn't look like he worked out that much, he still had a enough muscles to make him look like a guy you shouldn't mess with. "Like my abs?" he asked slyly, reading my mind. "Sure." I giggled. I laid my stomach and put my head on his knee. I felt the warm breeze carry the soft smell of the ocean along with it. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the sensations. The breeze, the warmth, the electricity that zoomed steadily between me and Kyo. "Hey, Jubei?" he asked. "Yes." I said. "Do you ever wish you were with a human instead of with me?" he asked. I stirred a bit. "No, humans are boring." I said. He laughed at that. "Yes, but seriously, do you?" he asked. "I did, but not scince I found out you were a V. There's just something inside me saying, I was meant to be with you. You know?" I said. He turned me over and lifted up the entire upper half of my body until my lips were kissably close to his. "I know." he said and kissed me. "Hey!" some male voice said from outside my beautiful world. Kyo lifted his head and when I turned mine, I was looking at a bunch of jocks in batheing suits. "That's a pretty hot girl you got there. Mind if we take her?" he asked, trying to grab me. But, Kyo grabbed his wrist and pushed him back. Kyo stood up and motioned for me to do the same. I did and he stood in front of me. The jock he pushed scowled. "Don't try to fight me, pretty boy." Kyo growled. "Get him!" the jock snarled to the other ones. "He found a loophole!" I said. Kyo smiled a bit at that. The first one came in with a punch. Kyo easily dogded it and tripped the guy. The next one he threw over his shoulder and that guy hit the other two who were coming. "Well, that was easy." Kyo said. The first one he punched got up and started trying to hurt Kyo. Kyo easily pushed him back to the ground. That's when I saw Kyo's golden brown eyes and fangs, from the looks of the other guy's faces, they didn't see what I saw. And just as quickly as it came, the vision went away and Kyo still had his dark brown eyes and fangless teeth. I sighed as I whatched the jocks run with their tail between their legs, speaking figuratively of course. I plopped back down on the blanket and sighed. Kyo sat next to me and placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. "Sorry about that." he said. "It's fine. Hey, I'm gunna try to get a tan, mind whatching the stuff and waking me up before I get sunburn?" I asked. He nodded. "Thanks." I said and went to lie down on the part of the towel that was not covered by the umbrella. I undid the back of my top half bathing suit. "What!?" Kyo blushed to his roots. "Don't worry. I'm just undoing it so I don't end up with a strap on my back, for about a month." I said. He nodded, but he couldn't remove his blush. I laughed at that. I settled down on my stomach and closed my eyes I have never been able to get a tan, and I was determined to get one this time. By the time we left, I still didn't have a tan! Why? I have no friggn idea!
