Revan stood by the window, looking up at the beautiful moon. Revan herself is very beautiful, with long black hair flowing past her neck. she looks over at the large wrapped package that She recieved moments ago, Her eyes glinted with the shine of the Moon. the good part of the town had shunned her based on the fact she has eyes that shine like silver. the bad parts of the town have more or less accepted her.
She walks over to the wrapped package and gives a ribbon a small tug. suddenly the whole thing comes unwrapped, revealing a stunning mirror. She looked and felt the handcrafted trim around the mirror and then her eyes shifted to the mirror. she saw her own reflection, which is what a mirror is supposed to do. but for some reason she felt like she had a picture taken of her. she turns her head quickly to the window, having heard a thunking sound. it was only a squirrel jumping off the neighboring roof and onto her window, meaning to land on the still.
she then looks at the mirror again and she is shocked by the mirror. in the mirror, behind her reflection was a dark shadow manifesting. the shadow came to full form and Revan recoginized the face on the shadow. it was her own face, and she could feel someone breathing next to her. she turned around slowly, and she saw it. a exact copy of herself, only shrouded in shadow. but she sould see all her features in the shadow, except for one thing. for Revan had silver eyes like the moon, the Shadow had eyes red as crimson blood.
the doppelganger smiled and laughed with a hint of evil with it. Revan started eyeing her Indoril dagger lying on the table, the doppelganger moved quickly. but the doppelganger didn't move for the dagger, but jumped through the window shattering it in the process.
Revan arrived at the window in time to see her own shadow darting across the roof tops, she threw the dagger at the wall in fustration embedding itself deep in the wall. she then covered up the mirror and sat down wondering what to do.
then she thought having a shadow doppelganger cant be all that bad, and she hoped she would see it again. she looked out the window one more time, then blew out her candle and went to sleep.
