.....They say the cries can still be heard. From the sad orphaned children that once lived there. The mansion of hell they now call it. Only a certain few feel the stories are fake...yet those who have been there when the tragedy happened know for certain what is real...and what is not....
Our story takes place with a young girl and boy.....they're in their early teen years. The boy is skeptical while the girl believes. One thing is certain in both of their minds. They both want answers. They tread inside the house.
The floors creak with age, spider webs scatter the many walls, and the shadows run from the light. The girl shivers in fear and clings to the boy for safety. The boy simply rolls his eyes.
"There's nothing to be afraid of....." he reminds her, "Nothing at all...."
The girl sighs and nods slowly. They walk further in. The girl steals a glance at one of the large stain glass windows. Her eyes grow wide. A small figure forms by the window.
The figure looks at the girl with it's eye-less face and sad stitched smile. Red tears drip from it's empty eye sockets. The girl shakes the boy, screaming and pointing at the figure. The boy turns to look but it's gone. He shakes his head and continues walking with her.....
They walk into what appears to be a playroom. They stare in horror at what is written on the walls. It composes of phases such as "Help us", "Don't go into the basement", and "Beware of Headmaster".
"W-what does it mean....?" the boy stammers. Tears fill the girl's eyes. She shivers in fear. Something is terribly wrong there.
Voices suddenly fill the playroom. Giggling and cheerful voices fill the room. Yet what they are saying is not cheerful. The voices tell a tale of how an evil headmaster took them in and one by one tormented them till their death. The boy and girl run out from the room and voices cease.
"We've gotta check that room out!" the girl announces.
"B-but-" the boy starts but is cut off.
"No buts! Just think...if we solve this we might be able to help them!" the girl points out, "We can't let them suffer like this...." The boy sighs and nods in agreement. They head down to the basement. The girl holds on to the railing but for some reason it feels wet and slick. She looks at her hand and finds something dark red and wet on it.
The girl screams and flails. The boy tries to calm her down and nearly slips. Once she calms down they continue down the stairs. It's so very dark in the room. The boy manages to find a light switch and pulls on it, however he wishes he didn't.
So many sharp tools are attached to the walls. Dry blood is caked on the floors. There is a large bathtub just up ahead. They slowly walk up to it and find just what they feared. Blood...and a skeleton grinning at them.....
A whispering voice calls out to them. The girl and boy turns to see the figure of a small girl. The little girl was missing her left arm and her right leg.
"Now you must leave.....before he comes back...." the little girl says.
"W-who....?" the boy asks, but before he can get an answer, the sound of a chainsaw is heard. Their screams pierce the air and that was the last they were ever seen.....
