• Megumi meets up with another surviving ally known as Noriko Sanban. Two so far, I would say. But will there still be hope for all of us?

    Noriko Sanban: Glad to see you, too. Where's the rest of the party?

    Megumi Tekarukite: We were ambushed while we were investigating this town and I was separated from my older sister and her crew. I've been trying to look for her for quite sometime.

    Soren Whisperwind: Are you hurt or anything?

    Noriko Sanban: No, I'm alright. [to Megumi] I was also trying to look for the remainder of my friends, but they had perished as well.

    Baruch van Austins: Sounds like you two seem to know each other quite well.

    Noriko Sanban: We're on the same side. We've been fighting animated for a long time.

    Me: Same with me, Baruch, and Soren. We've recently escaped Barton since it was being taken over by the undead. At least the three of us made it out alive.

    Soren Whisperwind: We're not going to leave it to ruins, remember? We're coming back with an organized army of our own to retake it and drive out the undead to free Barton from the hauntings of the animated.

    Me: That's where we're heading. I have to warn my clan members.

    Noriko Sanban: I'll join you all. I can prove that I'm also a useful crew member.

    Baruch van Austins: Thank you so much. We can use any survivors we come across.

    Noriko Sanban: You guys can count on me anytime.

    [zombies have came to look for us... and they're approaching]

    Megumi Tekarukite: Damn, they've spotted us! Won't they just ever give up?

    Soren Whisperwind: Everyone, run!

    [the five of us are now fleeing]

    Baruch van Austins: There has to be some kind of an exit somewhere. [spots a roadblock] Hey, look! Over there!

    [the five of us come across a roadblock of police cars, S.W.A.T vans, and dead law enforcement]

    Baruch van Austins: Damn, the animated forces might have blocked our only exit.

    Soren Whisperwind: Probably not. There might be a few remaining despite their excellent strength to overrun this roadblock.

    Baruch van Austins: You think? I heard many of them are immune to gunfire.

    Soren Whisperwind: Not so, Baruch! They must have multiple weaknesses than just gunfire alone! And I know we can---

    [a zombie grabs Soren's leg and bites it hard]

    Soren Whisperwind: Aaaaaaah! [slices the zombie's head off with slash]

    Megumi Tekarukite: [wish ring to heal Soren's injury]

    [all of a sudden, the dead Gaian police and S.W.A.T team soldiers rise to their feet, becoming undead in the process. The five of us step back]

    Noriko Sanban: Great, I guess there's no way to hide. These guys sure can't stay dead.

    Me: I heard that zombies die at a faster rate if you decapitate them in some way. Probably that's their only weak spot besides their limbs.

    Baruch van Austins: [kills several of the zombified Gaian police with hack and slash] I guess we'll have to march past them the hard way!

    Soren Whisperwind: I'm right behind you! Everyone, push forward!

    [the zombie police are cut down in mass numbers as well successfully get past the infested roadblock unharmed. Eventually, we continue running for our lives]
