• Now, correct me if I'm wrong, (though I'm usually not.) Is everyone's first kiss supposed to be as lovely as it is in all of the faerie stories? When I recall my first kiss, it was far from perfect. Our noses smashed and the armor we had on made it terribly uncomfortable. Our breast plates smashed together and made a horrid noise. It was still special though, just not perfect. How do you define a first kiss anyhow?
Do both people involved, have to be involved? Do the two people have to consent? Is it a 'first kiss' if the other person doesn't love you as much as you love them? Or does love not even have to enter the picture? It’s all really utterly confusing, for me at least. Then why do romances and fairy tales make it seem so amazingly easy.
