“Dear journal,
catch a cab when we did it was totally yuck in there.
As we arrived to our house, I met my grandmother, and it turned out to be hers.
I finally learned why we didn't have a house of our own. Me and my mother are broke aka dirt poor, so we had to live with my grandmother, in which my mother and grandmother are total opposites, so its going to be a challenge for each of us. And the moving truck, yeah that was a selling truck, we had to sell all our stuff. That's why she must said put you must have in your carry-on, good thing I decided to put Charlie in there. The brochure is the house we are going to by when we have enough money. Mom said Grandmother was kind enough to give us some money to go clothes and shoe shopping tomorrow. I still can't believe my mother hasn't told me till told me till now.

I spent the next day, like all day shopping in New York city, it was huge, not only was it huge it had the most and best stores ever, but I know I had to pace myself with this, we only had $500 dollars each to spend, and most clothes were over $120, not counting shoes, and I didn't want to only have five pieces of clothing, so we had to look for the best sales, maybe some $15-35 dollar clothing or such and two or three pairs of shoes.
We shopped, until we had to drop, to eat lunch and shopped again until dinner time.
In the end I got
18 pieces of clothing, four shoes, and three hats, 1 purse, 1 bag and some hair accessories and make-up.
I had never been so tired from shopping. Well at least I have clothes for school tomorrow.
