• It was getting dark and all the kids in town were outside in costumes going door to door to collect candy and other treats. It was Halloween, the time to dress up whoever or whatever you want to be and this year was the year that a young girl named Ali decided to dress up as a character from a movie she loved called The Nightmare Before Christmas.

    Ali had worked very hard on her costume and it was very nice for a holiday like today, the costume was a short sleeved dress with rips and tears in some places as well as some patches, she also had a mask that was shaped like a cat with glow in the dark eyes her mother helped make just a few days ago "This is gonna be great" Ali said as she started to put on her costume and looked in the mirror to see how she looked when she was done. Ali was 5 feet and 4 inches tall, she had light brown medium hair, that she'd put in a ponytail, as well as hazel brown eyes, she was 16 years old but she still was pretty much a young kid at heart.
    Ali then went straight to the bathroom and started to put on some halloween makeup she bought at the store "Ali, you done? I'm not trying to rush you or anything but I just want you to be ready before the sun completly sets" said a voice that was coming from the living room "Almost mom, I just need to put on my makeup" Ali called out as she was going to apply some moisturiser on her lips so that they wouldn't get cracked and have her licking her lips which she didn't want.


    Meanwhile, in a far off land, monsters, ghouls and witches were starting to get ready for the big night "This is gonna be the best Halloween ever" said a monster that had snakes on his head for hair
    "Yeah, I heard there's gonna be a lot more kids to scare off this year" said the werewolf and started to howl "This year's gonna be great" he added. "Indeed it will." said a voice from behind, the werewolf and the monster stopped and looked behind them to see a tall skeleton in a black suit "Jack!" they said in unison. "Now let's hurry, it's almost time for Halloween to begin" Jack said as he grinned and started to head off to the human world "LET'S GIVE THIS YEAR THE BEST YEAR THEY'LL EVER HAVE" he called out.
    The werewolf and the monster looked at each other almost in shock but soon grinned and started to head off to the human world along with all the other monsters in town.
