    To you, to me, to anyone.
    She thought she was worthless,
    That she wouldn’t be missed.
    She was so wrong.
    She thought nobody cared,
    And she assumed that nobody understood.
    She saw it as a release from the pain that haunted her steps,
    but she didn’t see the burden that she would leave on the shoulders of those who love her.
    It took a miracle for her to realise her purpose,
    To realise life had a meaning.
    She no longer wanted a means of escape,
    But a way to try again.
    To not fight with those who care,
    To feel the innocence of youth,
    To be born again and not have the pain this time around.
