• Eliza took in a deep breath and smelled the aroma of a deer's blood not too far in the woods. Her eyes glowed a furious red and she began to run full speed towards the deer, unaware and taking a drink from the river. She crashed through the trees and the deer's head went up. He began to run for his life. Eliza continued the chase, but was too hungry and tripped, losing sight of the deer. Her throat grew dry.
"Why didn't i follow the rest of them? I would've had fresh blood, and plenty of it."
But Eliza knew the reason of why she didnt go with the rest. Unlike her, the "others", as she called them, drank humans blood, something Eliza refused to do. But in this case, she knew she would if she wanted to survive. Bloodthirsty and shaking, she walked out of the forest and near the small town. She could smell the fresh blood of a male. It got stronger and stronger, hitting her with an electric jolt of energy. Peering from the corner, she saw him, he was handsome and tall. He had magnificent blue eyes with brown in the corner of one and messy brown hair. However, he was bleeding heavily. He had torn the knees in his jeans and the sleeves of his shirt. A pool of drained blood was going into a nearby drain and dripping down to where Eliza knew the "others" hid out. She had to do something, but what. She jumped out and grabbed him, ignoring her thirst. She threw him over her shoulder and ran as fast as she could, sensing that the "others' were coming from the drain. She sped up and crashed through the trees and into the clearing. Gasping for breath, she set the guy down as he opened his eyes and peered into her red eyes.
"Please dont kill me." He gasped out.
"I wont. I promise." Eliza said.
"Thank you. My names Matthew. You're the prettiest vamp i've ever seen."
"Thank you. My name's Eliza. i think you've stopped bleeding."
Sure enough he did. This was the start of a new relationship between human and vampire.
