• We sat in under the tree watching the violet sunset.
The colors of the sky, each one representing a different emotion, were enough to silence me and appreciate the wonders of nature.
"Its beautiful." I said in awe.
He looked at me with a simle accross his smooth face.
"Yes it is, but clearly not as beautiful as you." He replied.
I turned my head away smiling and trying not to blush, but I had no luck in succeding.
"Giovanni, you know I dont believe that, if anyone deserves that compliment it would have to be you." I whispered.
He grabed my hand gently and turned my head towards him. We looked into each other's eyes in silence.
His dark brown eyes piercing my very soul and ran chills down my spine.
"Jevon, you mean the world to me, and I hate it when you put yourself down like that. You know your my smexi a** husband and is never going to change. I love you, and I always feel that way."
At that moment I realized that my apperence never mattered to him. I've always been beautiful, inside and out...that was all he ever wanted me to believe. I started turning red with embarressment when I noticed
that I was staring directly into his eyes and looked away. He started laughing.
"Im sorry, I didnt mean to stare..." I said softly.
He grabbed my other hand and held it.
"It's cute when you blush you know." He whispered.
Of course that only made me blush harder. Then came the perfect distraction, the fireworks. I looked towards the sky and saw flares of green, red, white, blue, gold, and more. I looked at Giovanni, his eyes sparkling from the reflection of the fireworks, and he looked at me again, but not with the same peircing look...no...this time his eyes were much softer...as if trying to invite me closer to him.
"Giovanni-" I started, but he put a finger to my lips and shushed me.
"I already know." he said, pulling my body closer to his.
I could feel myself starting to shake, my body temperature rising.
Our lips met and set off an explosion of emotions running through my veins. Our tongues danced with feirce intensity, yet with the grace of the falling sparks of the fireworks. I released all tension within myself and fully relaxed, letting him guide me through every motion.
When our lips finaly seperated, he held me gently against his chest. We sat in silence as the colorful sparks became our words...saying the same thing over again with each explosion...I love you more than my own life...and that is how it will always be...as long as we're together.
