• I stared into his deep blue eyes, and he stared back. Our lives had been seperate to begin with, but now we were inexplicably tied together. I hated him, but I needed him to get me the Warp-Drive Power Cell. He hated me, but he needed me to command the ship.
    We were both after the most valuable treasure that the universe had to offer, the Universal Hop Laser, a huge laser capable of transporting objects to anywhere in the Universe.
    What happened over the years we spent together in that damned ship were some of the strangest events i've ever experienced. Needless to say, we brought other people, humanoids, cyborgs, androids, but they all got along, only me and him had anything to fight over. Who had the greatest claim to the Laser? Who got to use it first? Who kept it? But, either way, all of those questions eventually answered themselves.
    I hadn't planned on it, but I betrayed him, and the rest of the crew, days before we found the laser I had picked it up on a scanner I brought along, and set out in a scout ship to claim the UHL for myself. I used it's infinite power to get rid of them, and it did, it scattered them across the vastness of space, never to be seen again.
    I took the ship along with my prize and left behind only my kindness and dependability. The years it took me to travel back to Earth alone drove me insane, mad with power, with greed, and with the guilt of knowing that I was a traitor.
    I returned to Earth a Hero, I had brought back the greatest technology in the Universe, for Earth's personal use, we were no longer the vulnerable eco-system we once were. We were a Planet, united in Infinite Power. But alas, our trust for each other quickly weakened, and in fear of being disposed of myself, I took the ship and my prize, leaving behind only my reputation and emotion.
    What I was left with brought me the greatest happiness of all. I had Endless Ability, I had no compassion, I was alive only to bring destruction, darkness, Death.
    I had everything I ever wanted.
    I was finally Alone.
    With my Ship.
    And my Power.
