• "Kenia!" [ key.nI.a] called a sweet voice from the kitchen
    "Yes mother?" asked a small brown eyed girl. She was about nine and wore a pair of dark deniem jeans, a white tank top and no shoes.
    "Would you be a dear and get the laudry from the line? I don't want your fathr to come home and see it." she said sweetly as she washed the dishes.
    "Absolutely not" Kenia joked.
    "Thank you" her mother said smileing.
    Kenia walked out the back door to where the laudry was strung between two cherry blossom trees.
    " I wonder how mom can always be so happy. I mean look at her husband... rouge Mist ninja, always drunk. I hate the man, He hates us. He beats and yells at us yet she can still say she loves him." Kenia thought to herself as she folded the laundry placeing it in a white wickerbasket. She finished about half an hour later, right as her father was approaching. He was drunk as always.
    "Hi father" Kenia said solemly
    "Have you done any of your training today?" he asked immediately
    "Well..." Kenia stuttered
    " You'll never become kunochi! Your not tough enough. It's a foolish dream of a foolish girl" he boomed glareing at her as though she was the worst thing he had ever seen.
    "..I.." Kenia started
    "GO DO YOUR TRAINING!" he commanded.
    "But.."
    "NOW!" he bellowed clenching his fists
    "Yes sir! Kenia said as she took off running takeing directly to the trees. As Kenia went to do her training which consisted of a five mile run to a clearing where she was to practice her tiajutsu. Her father refused to teach her any jutsu, according to him it would be a waste of time. Kenia's mother never fought him on the subject because one, she knew it would do her no good and she believed it best for Kenia to avoid useing her chakra. Her mother's side of the family was kinda shadybut Kenia could tell that her mother was keeping secrets to herself that maybe she shouldnt...
