Ch. 1 A Brand New Me
Hey everyone! It's me, Amari. It's been a couple of years since I've seen everyone. Hope you all had a good time. Anyways, during my time away, I've changed my look. Here's what I look like now: User Image I'm 16 now; I know, it's hard to believe.
Well, I know that you all want to know what happens after Daisuke left. And I'll tell you! In the last chapter, the Honma family heard about the death that occured to my cousin Ken, and they went after Daisuke. A fight was about to start, but for my sake, Daisuke left. He said he'd be back, but I haven't seen him for two years. I hope you didn't think that chapter 7 of Feather was the last one. You didn't? I hope not! Anyways, here's what happened two years later.

"Hmm... white goes to black... yellow goes to green... where does blue go?" I tapped the pencil to my head, thinking hard. "Blue, blue, blue. Why is it always blue? Gosh, what happened to purple or red?" I gave up with the tapping and started to chew on my pencil. After about four minutes, I gave up. I tossed the book and pencil on the ground and folded my arms across my chest.
"I don't think throwing your things is going to help."
I looked up and saw my friend Lynn: User Image She's really nice; quiet but talks to me; careing; and very polite.
She picked up my things and sat next to me. "Do you need help with this?" she asked me as she stared at the paper I was doing. She picked up my pencil by the eraser with disgust.
"Heh, I do need some help with it," I admitted. "I can't find the right color for blue."
She was quiet for a while. "Blue goes with white, and black doesnt go with any color." She fixed my mistakes. "Here," she said as she handed to me.
I blinked. "Thanks." I stared at the paper, wondering what I did wrong.
"I heard that you changed your third class. Did you not like algebra anymore?" she asked me.
I put my things into my backpack. "I do like it, I'm just not good at it anymore. In Jr. high, I was always getting good grades on my tests. Even my Sensei said I was doing an excellent job, and recommended that I be moved to a higher class..." I broke off as I thought about it.
    "Then what happened?"
    I shrugged. "I don't know."
The bell rang, and she jumped up from the bench. "We better get to class. Sensei Arata will be really upset if you're late again." She turned and walked to her class.
I rolled my eyes. Sensei Arata get's upset over dumb things anyways. I got up and walked in the opposite direction Lynn went.
I ran through the hallways when I saw what time it was. AHH!!! Two more minutes!!! The hallways were almost empty; just a few people at their lockers with their friends standing around them. I was able to get by four Senseis without them catching me running in the halls. I turned the final corner and saw that the door to my class was still open. I was relieved. I started running faster. Almost there!!
I grabbed the handle, swung into the room, and crashed into Sensei Arata. The force pushed me back out into the hallway. The bell rang at the wrong time.
"You're late again Amari," he said. "Why am I not surprised?" He stepped aside to let me in. I bowed, thanking and apologizing him.
I walked inside, embarrssed. I slowed my pace as I got closer to my seat.
    "You're late again?"
I looked next to me. "Yeah, I was talking to Lynn," I told him.
User Image This is Kai. A good friend of mine. He get hurts a lot, as you can see, but he's cool. Try not to stare into his eyes for very long. It get's creepy. "You're blaming Lynn this time?" he asked.
"Yup. Ask her if you'd like," I answered. I stared at his bleeding arm. "Guess the bandages didn't stop the bleeding huh?"
"Nope. I got tired of changing them, so I left them alone," he said.
I laughed. "You'd think you'd learn by now not to mess with dogs."
He shrugged and looked at the board. "I thought you new me Amari. You should know that I don't feel half of the pain that's happening to me."
"I guess, but just because you can't feel it doesn't mean you should do it."
He was quiet. I was about to start talking again, but Sensei Arata inturrupted. "Kai, office," he said.
"Yeah, yeah. I know," Kai replied. Kai's always being sent to the office when Sensei Arata sees that he's bleeding. Only because Sensei Arata doesn't like the site of blood. It's funny if you ask me.
As Kai left, someone walked in. I didn't regonized him.
He handed Sensei Arata a small piece of paper. They talked for a while, then Sensei Arata pointed to Kai's desk. The person walked over and sat in his desk. At a glance, he looked like someone I knew. I tried to get that option out of my head.
I tapped him and he turned to me: User Image "Yes?" he asked. His eyes were intimadating.
His voice sounded just like the person I knew. It was hard to picture him as that person, but the voice matched perfectly. "I'm Amari. You must be new here," I introduced myself.
His eyes widened with shock. He got up quickly and sat a few rows in front of me. I was hurt. I didn't even know the guy and already he runs away from me? Rude much! I ignored it and rested my face in the palm of my hand.
I looked in Kai's chair and saw a feather. I picked it up and looked over it closely. It was white, smooth and very soft.
That's when it hit me! This new person is Daisuke!!! The day I met Daisuke was happening all over again.
