    The night was cold, snowing, and silent. Then a sudden cry of a new-born burst through the night. That night was the birth of Princess Kagami Jigoku. But then, there was a strange sound just outside the young infant's room. The young princess's Mother slowly got up from her bed opened the door to see what it was and then the young queen collasped! Leaving the poor young infant to fend for her life. But, luckily her Father rushed into the room before the 'it' could harm the princess. Princess Kagami seemed fine at first but a while later when the doctor's announced Queen Jigoku's death, Princess Kagami's eyes changed colours. From the bright red eyes then became what is now her dim, mysterious, dark, cold velvet eyes. The doctor examined the princess and sadly said, "The young princess has been cursed by the dark spirit which killed her mother." King Jigoku was outraged by the news. King Jigoku quickly rushed to the near-by kingdom to King Vallier and said, "My daughter Kagami, has been cursed by the dark spirit. And you son had just turned 1. What shall we do?" King Vallier was also shocked by the sudden news. King Vallier closed his eyes and said, "The wedding shall go on...but about your queen. We shall have a grand funeral for the poor maiden..." King Jigoku sighed in grief over the sudden death of his queen.
    17 years later...
    Kagami was awakened by her dream. Kagami sat up on her bed and sighed in despair. Then softly said in her gentle, velvety voice, "...thesame old dream once more. The day of my birth and Mother's death..." Kagami quickly got off her bed and slipped off her robe, revealing her large birth mark of a black and purple dragon. The birthmark spreaded from her left should to her right shoulder all the way down her slender small back. Kagami then slowly slipped on her red gown. Kagami then looked in the mirror looking at her face and saw the darkness within her eyes. She quickly shut her eyes closed thinking, ...I am not going to let myself become an animal... Kagami took in a slight breath and walked downstairs to her father. There her father waited patiently for Kagami's arrival. When she arrived she said, "I'm here Father." King Jigoku then looked up and replied, "Ahh, yes great we are all here." Kagami stared at her father in confusion. We? As in who, Kagami thought. Then this handsome young man came up to Kagami bowed then took her hand and kissed it. He then said, "Hello. I am Prince Ikuto Vallier." Kagami blushed a little then responded, "Princess Kagami Jigoku, at your aquantince." Kagami then felt a little dizzy and took a step back. Ikuto then quickly held her with his srong grip. "Are you okay Kagami?" Ikuto was worried. Kagami could read it on his face. She smiled and said, "Ah, yes I am...just a little dizzy." The the two kings spoke up, "You two are getting married in 2 days." Ikuto and Kagami posed there in shock.
