• (Nero's point of view)

I sat, slouched. I shuffled around in my chair groaning as I couldn't find a postion that my stomach agreed with. It seemed to lurch every time I sat up straight. I tried leaning forward. More pain. I leaned back. It eased. I flung my legs up on the coach and lied back placing my head onto the chair arm. I glanced at the ceiling for about 5 mintues then the acheing rises again. It's awful. I try to swallow the pain and ignore it. But it fails. I can't ingore it. I sit up swiftly again. This makes puke burn my gullet as I swallow it back down. I gasp as the taste of sick stays on my tongue. I hold my head in my hands and close my eyes. I look into the ache in my stomach. I imagine it churning and bubbling inside me, ready to overflow. I don't even know how I got like this. I was fine this morning...

"Dante!" I called furiously. "Vergil!" I yelled to his twin. They turned and acknowledged my discomfort but said nothing. Until Dante replied.
"What!? We have to hurry! The demons are on the move! If you haven't noticed!" Then he continued to run beside his silent twin. I panted as I tried to catch them. But they were fast. But, I was the same. I am Nero. And my worse experiance started here....

Dante and Vergil were up ahead and I was lagging behind. Not far behind, just keeping an eye out...Anyway, They approached the destination where the demons lurked. We saw them ahead. Dante slided upto a upturned car beside the pavement. From there, if he peeped around the right of the car he could plainly see the demons. They ripped another car's bonit off and used it to smash windows of shops. By the looks of things they've been here for a while.

The windows all along the street were broken and cracked. I quickly dived through a open door. Unfortunately, for me I couldn't see the demons. There were no windows and the shop was on a corner. I would have to come out and expose myself if I wanted to see them. Dante was a few yards away it seemed. Vergil hid in an alleyway. He was the closest. He wasn't far from Dante but the alley just hid him out of view from the demons. If they move a few paces left and turned they would see him. I gaze at Dante who edged himself to the end of the car to see what was happening. Vergil had his back to the wall and looked at me. I opened my mouth. He swiftly silenced me by putting a finger to his mouth. Dante sat with his back to the car and looked at me. I shrugged. He looked away. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back in thought.

A few silent seconds passed with only the sound of windows crashing and demons chuckling glutterally in the background. Then Dante snapped his eyes open as I sense a wave of inspiration pass him. He looked to me. He said the words soundlessly.
" I'll go inbetween the cars. You climb up onto the roofs and tell Vergil to stay there."
I nod to show I understood. Then I exited the shop and began to climb up the building being careful not to make a sound. I see a drainpipe next to my shop. I grab it and climb. It creaked and groaned as my wieght was pulling on it but the demons didn't seem to notice. I reached the top of the pipe, however, the roof remained out of reach. I survey my surroundings. Or lack of them. But, to my luck, a window ledge potruded suggestively. I could make it. But I don't know how much sound I would make. I take the risk and leap. It doesn't make a sound but I do. One of my hand slips and I make an outcry. I only hold on with one hand as I look at the ground far below. It seems to move and blur as I take in how far up I am. I felt sick.

I see Dante freeze out of the corner of my eye. He is very close to the demons. He has journeyed around them and made it to another streets enterance, which could be a potential exit for the demons. He frantically waves his hands, telling me silently to stay quiet. I do and by the looks of it the demons still haven't noticed me. I still keep my mouth shut though. I'm afraid I'll be sick. I fling my loose hand desperately onto the ledge and grip it tight. I look around. I'm a lot more scared now that I've looked down. I pull myself onto the window ledge and jump up to the roof. I pull myself up onto that and roll onto my back and sigh in reilef. I shat myself down there. I breath out roughly and get up by pushing off the ground and landing on my feet.

Slowly and cautiously, I approach the edge of the building. Being careful not to disturb the ranting demons below. Dante is blocking the demons only exit totally now. Vergil remains were he first was. I have no idea what Dante's planning. He poked his head out from behind the car and told me silently to jump down on his signal.

I see what he's doing now. From were we all are, we have them surrounded. They can't run like they've been doing for these past few hours.
