• Shawn walked through the dark forest. He remembered the tales he used to hear about the forest at night. Strange creatures lurk all around it. Searching for live kill. He looked at a pair of yellow eyes peering out at him from a bush. He jumped back into a tree. A grey cat had come out from the bush. "It's only a cat Shawn. Nothing to be afraid about in a forest. The storys are all made up. Or at least...I hope they are" He bent down to pet the cat that had come out to see him. He looked up at the sun rising. "Okay. The night is over. My dare is done. I can go home now...." He looked around the unframilar forest. "But which way is home?" He wonderd. Suddently he heard a growl from above him. But it didn't sound like an animal growl...It sounded like a human growl. But it also sounded like a wolf. "You don't scare me Shane! Come out! I don't belive this forest is haunted like you tell me! So come out of the tree!" Shawn yelled. He heard a cracking noise. And then a yelp. He saw something fall out of the tree. He walked up to it and took a close look. He saw a half girl half animal. Wolf ears were ontop of her head instead of human ears at the side. She had a fluffy fox tail. She had sharp teeth like a Tiger. Her mouth was out just a little bit like a cat's. Her eyes were yellow like the cats he had seen. Her body was covered in white fur like her ears and tail. And she had a huge scar all across her leg. "I think it's dead" Shawn said. He grabbed a stick and starting poking the figure. A sharp high pitched yelp came out of it as he poked the scar. He droped the stick paralyzed as the figure sat up and rubbed the back of its head. "Ow that hurt" She said silently. She looked up at Shawn and said "Oh no... They're here to get me! After 4 years!" She got up and raced off. Shawn darted after her dodging trees, vines, bushes, and other things. he leaped at her and knocked her to the ground. "Wait" He panted. "Who's coming to get you?" He asked couiosly. "No one." She replyed with a sigh. "Why are you an animal like that?" He asked. *I shouldn't have just said that! I'm so stupid!*He thought. "Well... It was a Chemical Reaction... It all started as I was born. The hospitals scientist had come charging in and triped on the table where they keep all the knives. One of the knives slit open my leg and the Chemical he had created went flying out of his hands and hit me on my open wound. Day after day I gradually grew animal parts. I was a freak. I hated it!I ran away 4 years ago. From all the pain and suffering everyone caused me." She ducked her head in her knees and cryed thinking about her past. "Don't cry... Your not a freak to me" He sat next to her and grabed one of her hands. "To me your normal" She looked up at him tears still in her eyes she wraped her arms around him. Then she heard "Shawn! Shawn! Dude the night is over! If your hiding with your secret Girl Friend Im gonna find out who it is!" Shawn heard Shane yelling that "I gotta go...Shane is calling me" "Wait!" "Yes?" "Whats a girl friend?" Shawn stood there staring at her blankly. "You'll find out sooner or later" He dashed off into the woods "Yeah right Shane stop talking about yourself!" He called back to Shane.
