She raised her smoldering gray eyes to the sky. Thoughts of the past week ran through her head like fireflies in the hot July skies. The silver moon hung in the sky, shimmering and sparkling. Many remnants of the past days fluttered through her in an exiting, yet confusing way. Slow and melting like molten chocolate, yet packing an electricity that made her shudder. Gazing up, she spotted a falling star. Should I wish? She thought, no. I have everything I want here and now. She looked again at the skies, and finally having enough nerve to make a wish it was gone, over the horizon.
Sunlight filtered through the window casting a golden light to the room. Slowly stretching, Blythe slipped out of her bed and slipped on her soft fuzzy slippers. She went to the window and admired the view. Slender willows fenced in the backyard garden. The tulips were in bloom; their gleaming stalks flowing along with the wind. Delicately she glided and pinned up her red velvet curtains with a satin ribbon. Opening the window, she heard a chorus of bluebirds chirping their salutations. Rays of sunlight caught on her dazzling white smile. Blythe leaned out of her window and felt the winds embrace. Soft torrents of rose scented gusts cascaded upon her, trailing soft, caressing fingers through her golden locks.
