Yoko Tatika walked into the Garden Greenery of the downtown zoo. She had always loved these plants. They were always bright and colorful, even in the winter. Her eyes took in all of the spring flowers, how alive and in bloom. She closed her eyes to listen to the swaying of the leaves and to the fact that there were little animals moving, camouflaged by the plants. She began to feel the energy come to her… consume her. Yoko opened her eyes to see that she was indeed draining the plants of their energy. Plants around her gave up their life to her. They lifted her up into the air with a bright colorful glow.
Yoko cried out for them to stop but they didn’t. Her parents ran around franticly trying to find ways to get her down. Finally, a young boy climbed up a dead tree and launched himself into the air. The force of him hitting her knocked her to the floor. The energy flow stopped. Tears filler her eyes as she vowed never to lay foot in the garden again.
