I sat there in the dark, frowning as I sat by myself. Wasn't anyone looking for me? Or did they not care? I held back the tears in the large darkness, my body was numb. Soon, I became bored, like the usal. So I started humming a lullaby from my child hood.
But as I hummed, the darkness soon became smaller as I looked around the room, it was soon bright. I placed my hand over my eyes to shield it from the bright lights in the white room. "W-where am I?" I stood up, looking around the room.
"You're in my room Miss." I gasped, spinning around on my heels, to see a small six year old child, playing with A B C blocks.
"Where's your family, little girl?" I murmured, looking at her. Soon crossing the distence towards her, and sitting down next to her.
I watched as she placed the blocks into a tower, then she spoke. "Mommy and Daddy are down stairs." The little girl giggled, knocking down the tower with both of her small hands, once the blocks hit the floor, clapping against the floor, her hands clapped together too, and she started to laugh. I smiled as I heard the small girl laugh.
Looking around the room, I saw more toys. Dolls, jump ropes, balls, and a lot more. I sighed, for some reason this room seemed so familar to me, I raced through my thoughts, trying to think why it was so familar to me! I looked back to the girl as she stacked up the blocks agian.
Then my gaze was cought by another familar picture that was hanging on the wall. I slowly got up on my hands and knees, grabbing the paper from the wall. My fingers trailed across the paper, trying to remember why this face made my heart flutter inside. "Who's this?" I whispered to the girl, pointing to the boys beautiful face.
"That's Andy!" The girl giggled again. "He's my boyfriend." She smiled, pushing the stack of blocks back over agian.
I gasped as I then remembered the name! Andy! That was my boyfriend. First my best friend when we were little, then my boyfriend! I smiled as I traced the picture again with my skinny tan finger. The girl just glared at me a little, she could see how close I felt to the boy. "He's my boyfriend! You can't have him!" She yelled, throwing a block at me, as tears began to swell in her eyes.
"N-no! I know, I was just amazed at how well you drawl!" I protested, getting out of the way as the block was thrown at my face. The girl cried out, telling me to go away. That she hated me too.
I crinced. "Andy said that we would be together forever! He said it was always going to be Andy and Melody!!" The girl cried, jumping onto the small bed in the corner of the room.
I gasped loudly again. Had the girl said my name? I looked back down to the paper, then back to the girl. She was me!! When I was six! I slowly crossed the room with a smile as I picked the girl up and placed her in my lap, as if she was my own child. I began to hum the lullaby that I knew, as the girl sniffled and sobbed.
After awhile, it was quiet as I looked at the small me in my arms. The small Melody was fast asleep, she had such and angelic face. I smiled, placing her back onto the bed and under the covers. Getting up off the bed, I gasped as everything went dark again. The small me was gone. Melody! Melody were are you?!" I yelled, almost like a mother that had lost her child.
"She's waking up!!" I heard the angel's voice cried as his hand slow brushed my forehead. "Melody...Hey Mel...Can you hear me...Say something....Please!....It's me, Andy remember? We will be together forever, I promise." The angel murmured in my ear, I could tell that it was hard for him to stay.
I gasped loudly again, squeazing my eyes shut, as I heard an annoying beeping sound above my head. Slowly I openned my eyes, to a new set of lights. But, there was the angels face. I smiled. "Andy!" I whispered, my voice think with sleep as I just smiled at him weakly.
"Hey." He murmured, kissing my forehead as I felt a tear land on my forehead. My smile fadded as I looked back at Andy's face. Whiping a tear from his cheek. His hand just placed over mine, and I smiled again.
"I'm sorry...What....What happened?" I whispered, looking around the room.
Andy frowned, sighing lightly. "You were in a coma....You've been out for about four days." He whispered, kissing my forehead again.
"I'm sorry." I murmured, shaking my head. He just simply shook his head, placing a hand on the side of my face, and then, he kissed me. I felt my heart jump into my rib cage, and it was heard on the monetory. Andy pulled away chuckling lightly as he watched it slow down.
I flushed with embarrassment at this. But grinned at him. "I love you." I whispered, lacing my fingers with his.
Andy smiled, giving me one more small kiss, the beeping sped up again. But Andy just smiled. "I love you too. I always will." He whispered in my ear. I just smiled, and laid there as the day ticked away, and me back with Andy.
