• Prelude... First Chapter coming soon.

The colony ship, Deniable Vector, has encountered an unknown signal.
"Captain!"Laniard shouted, who was manning the radar."Captain! Take a look at this." His hand was sweating as he switched the radar image to the main portal. Two fuzzy outlines were shown moving along to intercept Deniable Vector.
"Take us out of Slipstream,Laniard,"Captain William C. Forre said." we need to find out what those signals are.
"But Captain," he said,"what if those things are hostile aliens?"
"We do not now if those are hostiles. We need to identify them. If those are hostiles, we need to warn every colony vessel that we can."
"Engines powering down," Teresa Vlor said from the engineers' hub."about two minutes 'til we exit Splipstream."
"All, right. Ron, engage all combat drones in two minutes. tell all the passengers to get to the main plaza on deck five."
    "alright, working on it."

They burst out of Slipstream space. Drones 1 to 70 released out of the crevasses they were being stored in. Ron Adams, who was their main combat operator, set the sheilds to maximum power.
"Dear, God. What are those?" Captain William said. He was staring at the main portal. The portal was showing two globe like shapes about 3,000 kilometres away. The ships had two long spear-like shapes attached to the back. On the bottom of the ship, five small, triangular shapes protruded like giant cancers. In the front of the ship, a smaller circular shape protruded. the top was covered in rectangular shapes as if a city was attached to it. The ship would have looked funny if not for the giant lancers at the left and right sides angling 40 degrees to the back.
"Damn, that thing looks-" Teresa never finished her sentence. The triangles at the bottom of the ship burst in incandescent light and a huge burst rang out as a green-blue laser lashed out at twelve gees.
"Ron! Tell those drones to intercept that laser. Activate the Rushers." Captain Williams said.
"Working..." Ron said, looking relaxed and out of place as everyone else hurried to do their jobs, looking like they've been electrically shocked.

The Rushers were droids that carried over a dozen anti-matter pellets, exploding as soon as they were told to. They were developed by Lockheed when they were assigned to develope the colony ships' weapons. Two Rushers slid out of their highly armored pods and acelerated towards both alien ships at over mach 3.As the first Rusher approached it's target, the alien ship saw it and two, smaller lasers burst out of the rectangular ports on top of the ship. It avoided the first one and the second, it looed graceful as it danced between the two lasers intercepting it. At five-hundred kiliometres from the ship, it released it powered down the atmospheric pressure that was keeping the anti-matter pellets from exploding. A second later, it detonated. The aliend ship's shield flared in a white-gray haze as it tried to absorb most of the damage. Two seconds later the shield flared and went out. The ship burst apart in a haze of shrapnel and incandescent light.

The second Rusher wasn't so lucky. IT was hit by a laser 5 ilometres away from its target and burst into oblivion. The last surviving alien ship accelerated at over mach 7 and fired all of it's lasers at a single point in the Deniable Vector's shields.
"Increase sheild strength at that area!" The Captain said.'
"Working!" Ron said. Now he was lie everybody else, panicked and adrenaline rushing through his vains. "Yes! Sheild strength woring at over 150% I think were going to-"
The lasers changed their target and switched to the ship's side where shield strength was only at 50% since it was being diverted. Amazingly, IT held for five seconds, letting the crew and passengers scream in total panic. Another second and the sheild short-circuited. The lasers burst through the ship as easily as nife through butter.
The Deniable Vector exploded as it's anti-matter chamber was penetrated and overloaded, sending the passengers, crew and ship into a spinning hell of superheated metal and gore.
