• The next morning, Hunter walked into the senior lounge on the tenth floor. He had reserved it for his meeting with his sector. As he took some papers from a folder he brought, he took a deep breath. It smelled fresh.

Raph came suddenly blasting in singing along with Avril Lavgine’s song “Girlfriend” downloaded on someone else’s iPod and dancing around wildly.

“And the fresh smell vanished, as the nicely done dance of Raph hit the floor,” said Hunter to himself.

Raph stopped the song and looked at Hunter. His eyes left Hunter and scanned the room. Raph must be the first one. He carried his feet over to Hunter.

    “Where is everyone?” Raph asked.

“Late?” Hunter answered with a question.

They both looked around. They didn’t say a word. Raph dug into the floor carpet with his left foot. Hunter just stood there. Raph’s eyes then lit up with glee.

    “AAAHHH!!” he screamed.

He ran and jumped into a huge bean bag. The bean bag was the same size as Raph and full of fluff and love. Raph sunk into the leather exterior.

Raph looked around the lounge. The door was in the left corner ahead of him. The wallpaper was a blue-green almost teal. As Raph’s eyes roamed the room, he could see three steps. The stairs lead up to a stage which Hunter was on. Right behind Hunter was a wall of glass where the sunlight beamed in. Before the steps were tables with 1950 bar seats around them. Then behind the tables were randomly set bean bags, which Raph was already in one. Each was a different spring color. Raph looked over his right shoulder. In the corner was a mini 1950 bar that curved out from the wall but stopped to give enough space for an opening where people can walk behind it. The mini bar had a fridge and a fountain drink machine. An oven was in the middle of the counters on the back wall behind the bar, and a microwave on the counter to the right of the oven.

Raph’s attention was brought to Hunter again. Still no one came. Hunter walked down and slammed himself in a bean bag next to Raph’s.

    “What up?” said Raph normally.

Hunter looked over at Raph and said, “Nothing apparently.”

Raph turned to look out the window. The birds flew by, and the sunshine was beautiful.

“Don’t be so wrong with yourself,” said Raph. “At least you have time to enjoy the morning blossom.”

Hunter just took a breath and looked out of the window wall. They sat there looking out the window.

Slowly the others came trickling in. Mirabelle walked in first and sat with them. After ten minutes, Jess came trotting in with papers in her hands.

    Agent Name: Jess
    Age: 15 Height: 5’ 4’’ Weight: 171
    Specialty: Researching (any way possible)
    Weapon: Grenades
    Secondary weapon: Taser

Jess is the secretary of the sector. She is very informative and wants to know everything down to the last detail on any subject. She must get all of the answers. Sometimes if she asks you something and you reply with a lot of information, you will be caught in her web of questions. She is like Hunter. She goes over and beyond. She thinks with a lot of logic and has to understand everything. She has to be on time and have a good agenda. She is one of the most organized members of the sector. She will not take no for an answer. She is straight forward. Sometimes she can suck up or an annoying factor in an equation. You can always count on her, though, to help you out. She is perfect for getting information.

“Sorry, I got here finally,” she said scurrying to a seat at one of the tables.

Then George, David, Jordan, Danielle, Maggie, and Eugene came in.

Danielle is a cheerleader girl who wants to hug a lot to brighten her day. She always wears a top that flatters her, even in the winter. She is Hispanic and normal size for a 15 year old.

Maggie is the 16 years old wild and random one of the group. She will always find a completely different subject and somehow mix it into a conversation perfectly to confuse anyone. Of course she will have to explain herself. She has brown wavy hair and blue eyes.

David is the 16 year old jock of the group. He loves sports and is head captain of the football team. He wears his letter jacket most of the time and his faded blue jeans. His muscles surpass anyone’s. The girls fall for him every day. His short military cut brown hair makes him look stronger than he is.

Jordan is the 15 year old assassin of the group. She is very picky on her style of attacking. She likes to play with her prey. She is a regular girl who is known by everyone and feared by everyone. She dresses with simple layers of clothes that attract even the toughest of boys to get. Her long, wavy, blond sexy hair is her most valuable possession, but she is not street smart at all.

George is the watcher of the group. He makes sure that every message and problem within the group is reported and received. He is normal and is not that popular. His black hair is the only thing that is always in style. George is always slow on the fashion updates. He could never keep up.

Then we have Eugene. Eugene is the quiet one.

    Agent Name: Eugene
    Age: 14 Height: 5’ 4’’ Weight: 130
    Specialty: technology assistance
    Weapon: computer
    Secondary Weapon: N/A

He is never looked on as a part of the group. He is skinny and has barely any muscle tone. He has some but not enough to make him attractive. He loves to play video games, and his life is almost centered on it all. He is a true geek, a true powerful geek. With his intelligence in electronics and computer programming, he can find and track down anyone. He stays one step ahead of every enemy they faced, but not great in physical offence or defense.

Eugene wears the regular jeans and t-shirt. He never did venture into looking great. What fit him fit him. Today he wore his tennis shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt that hugged him a little. His brown shaggy hair made him look the geekiest of the geeks. He was not someone who you would want to go on a date with. He sluggishly sat himself into a seat in the table pit.

They all sat down in random areas and Hunter looked annoyed by the late ones.

Then the one they all know and love, Kay walked in.

    Agent Name: Kay
    Age: 17 Height: 5’ 4’’ Weight: 200
    Specialty: Knife Throwing
    Weapon: Throwing Knives
    Secondary Weapon: M9 Pistol

Kay is the oldest of the sector. It doesn’t bother him, but he is closer to leave the group because he is the oldest. He is smart and skipped a grade, but he covers it by being wild. He can also be serious. When he is, stay out of his way. You can always go to him for some kind of answer. Be careful, he jokes a lot. He loves his friends and will stay for them no matter what.

He wears every shirt with a weird, fun saying with a zip up hoodie on his shoulders unzipped. He always wears jeans with holes and converse shoes. His hair is black, grown to his shoulders, and flat. His hair had no volume at all. He can impress the ladies really fine though. Kay walked over to a bean bag and slammed himself into the bag.

Everyone was having a good conversation with each other. Sadly, the officers were trying to get their attention. They were quite poor at getting the members’ attention today. Hunter couldn’t stand it. He stood up and with the deepest tone of his voice, he shouted, “All right, time to get this started.”

Everyone stopped. They looked at him and tuned in finally. Raph was the most curious. He had seen the reaction of Hunter’s wrath after the “event”. Hunter took a step forward and looked everyone directly in the eyes. It seemed quite awkward for Hunter to stare everyone down so slowly. Something was up. He stepped onto the stage next to the glass wall.

“We failed to get our money for our group,” he said while the people looked at each other, except for Raph. “We didn’t have the best report.”

Raph threw a big gesture with his rolling of his eyes, gaining everyone attention. “You know why? Don’t you?” he asked. “It is because we made something up to prevent something that is not out there. I have told you about this before.”

Hunter still didn’t finish yet. “As I was saying,” he continued. “But we got attention to our research. They will see if there are any holes in the systems where a virus can get into.”

Everyone was shaking their heads with pleasure. Raph was not. Just being a crack in the road never did satisfy him. If the sector wanted to be noticed and make an impact, you better be noticed with great glory and attention. There you will get the help and support you will need. Raph got up and looked around. Everyone was talking to each other and off in their own world.

Mirabelle spotted Raph. She knew what he was thinking.

She had to stop Raph from leaving. She immediately got up and attracted Hunter’s eyes. She almost reached the door, when she looked back at Raph. He was not in his bean bag. Raph was getting a soda from the soda fountain machine. She was so confused. Raph had to leave. That was him. She walked back over to her seat and flopped herself down. Suddenly the door to the room automatically opened and Raph was on his way somewhere. Mirabelle slapped her head.

How could she have missed it? The drink was a decoy destination. She shook her head.

“You should talk to Raph,” Mirabelle suggested to Hunter.

Hunter immediately shut his mouth. He had no idea what to say. Finally he got the mind to open his mouth. “Why?” he said.

Mirabelle gave a dark look at Hunter. “You know why,” she strongly stated. “You took the spot he was fighting for. The spot he wanted to change the group from.”

Hunter looked like he was being attacked with words, not even he could bring himself to stream. “I am doing that. He should be happy,” he stated.

Mirabelle shook her head in disgust. “The group was going to fall and he knew how to bring it back up. He had to get your officer seat,” she told him directly in the eyes. “You have got our group together, but instead of changing the group, you want to change the world. Raph wants to improve our group, so we can change lives.”

Hunter still looked confused. Isn’t that the same thing?

She helped herself up and walked straight for the door. She was wondering if Hunter would reply back.

When Hunter didn’t stop her, Mirabelle walked out of the automatic door and left. Mirabelle searched for Raph. She searched the food court, his room, and his favorite place, the snow cone stand. Where could he be? Then out of the corner of her eye, she saw Raph walking in the garden outside of the building. She was on the fifth floor. She would have to hurry.

Mirabelle finally reached the ground level. Raph was still in the garden looking at the beauty. Mirabelle stood inside the building debating if she should go after him. Raph stopped and a bird flew right next to him. He didn’t touch it or move. He just likes the beauty to be around him and see its glory. Mirabelle took a step when a paper airplane flew to her. She picked it up. It said that she should go to the front desk on the ground floor. Luckily for her she was on the ground floor.

She reached the front desk, which was a few steps away and knocked on the counter. The front desk was huge. The counter reached up to Mirabelle’s chest. She leaned over it and saw Sara sitting in her chair typing away on her computer. Sara had to be one of the most beautiful girls in all of the building. She was always up with her fashion and her dark brown hair always had volume and body. Sara spotted Mirabelle and quickly gathered things up.

“I am so sorry,” Sara said. “I thought the airplane would not get to you so soon.” She scrambled through her piles of paper. “I need to clean this.” She then grabbed a folder under countless of copied reports. She flipped through it and handed it to Mirabelle who was trying to reach over.

Mirabelle thanked Sara off and started to walk to Raph. She read the paper from the folder she received. Hunter had rejected this mission. It said he wanted to work on his virus research. He wanted this folder to be bounced to a different sector. She looked around and closed the folder quickly. After that she quickly strutted off to Raph.

Outside, Raph was letting the wind blow around him. His eyes were narrowed because of the sunlight, but the look made him look satisfied but calm. Mirabelle shrugged Raph’s shoulder and showed him the folder. His eyes woke up finally to see what was around him.

Mirabelle and Raph were trying to walk as fast as they could without people speculating. Mirabelle called people on her cell phone to meet Raph and her out in front of the building. She told them to bring their equipment. Raph and Mirabelle arrived in Raph’s room. Raph quickly got his sniper case and sniper parts and placed them in the sniper case. After that, he swung the sniper case over his shoulder. They headed towards the doorway. Before they walked out, Raph made a swift movement to open a drawer, grab a pistol, stuck in a pistol holder on his belt.

“This is not good,” Mirabelle said while Raph and she walked down the stairs to ground level. “He said to give it to Gamma Strip. We could get some money out of it.”

“And Gamma Strip is on vacation,” said Raph hopping off the stairs and meeting the group Mirabelle assembled together. “One of my other friends is in it, and they are in Aruba. They can’t do it and left no one to do the job.”

They met up with the group Mirabelle assembled. It contained Kay, Danielle, and Maggie. They all greeted each other and headed to the street in front of the building outlined by trees. Behind the trees to their right was a huge park. On the left, there was a grand forest of trees, with some randomly plotted buildings with small greenbelts, linking the buildings to the main building.

“So what is up?” asked Kay.

“Well,” Mirabelle said. “There is a building in the center of Dallas, Texas that contains a bomb.”

Maggie was so confused. Why were they going after one bomb? “A bomb?” she asked quickly.

“A bomb that if blown up, any foundation of the city in five miles would collapse under the pressure and magnitude of the blast,” said Mirabelle. “No one has reported back about its disarmament. Hunter passed it on to another grou –”

Danielle cut Mirabelle off immediately trying to get everything in her head. “Hunter?” she asked.

“Yes,” Mirabelle answered. “Gamma Strip is on vacation right now and no one has attended to it. I was given the mission to give to them.”

They had finally reached the organization airport. Once on a plane, they settled down. It would be a one hour flight. They set their equipment down and circled up in the plane. There was a little jerk, and the plane was in the air, headed for their destination.

“There is also another reason why it is so important,” Mirabelle said. “That building used to be the old organization building. This bomb means that someone is after the organization. That building is eroding, but still has some files left there that would like to be received.” She ended and turned in her seat to face the front of the plane.

Raph was sitting right beside her. “You are not going to tell them the other part of the mission papers?” he asked.

Mirabelle didn’t answer. She couldn’t let anyone know besides Raph. Hunter knew about it and she did. That was the way in the first place, but for this time around she had to let someone else in.

“Hunter is a big boy,” she said. “He can deal with us disappearing for a little bit.”
