• 50 yrs ago (our day)
Wild pokemon were common. Legends could still live in the wild. There were always enough Pokemon, no matter how many were caught. The Gym Leaders were willing to give up their badges, if you beat them of course. More new trainers seemed to leave everyday for their journey.

    50 years after.
Wild Pokemon are rare occourences now. All Legends have been captured and forced to fight so much that they're no longer rare to see in trainer fights. Gym leadrs cheat in their fights, to ensure that they keep their badges, and if you beat them, they will they ask an impossible riddle of you. As for trainers, It's first come first serve at the Labs, and you can't choose what Pokemon you get. Only about one per year sets out. And this is where our story starts...

The girl had been waiting at the Lab since noon of the previous day, she WOULD be the one to leave this time. As dawn broke over the town, she heard the crunch of boots on gravel. "Well, only one. Does this mean that the rest of them have heard of ME?" The voice whispered from behind her.
'Please great Dialga, let the doors open' She thought as the boy behind her kicked her in the back.

The Pokemon gods saw the amber orb rise up into the sky. Suddenly, it changed to clear with the image of Dialga. "See if you can find him." The Ho-Oh growled to it's servant Charizard.
"As you commnd master." The Charizard said, flying off.

When the Charizard reached Dialga's cave, he heard the large Pokemon roar in fury. Charizard gulped, and tapped on one of the walls with his claw.
The large legend stuck it's head out, and growled, with such ferosity, that the Chrizard wanted to run then "What do you want, servant of Ho-oh?"
    "Y-you have a pray-pray, a prayer!" The charizard studdered.
"It's been a long time since anyone prayed to me, give it to me." The larger pokemon snarled.
The orb flew out of the Charizard's right claw.
"Please great Dialga, let the doors open" The girl's mental voice was pure and clear.
The Dialga smiled, and blew a small breath.

As the girl was ready to run away, the doors opened behind her.
