• DANCE DANCE I SAY
    CHAPTER 1
    "RUBY!!TURN OFF THE RADIO.. TIME FOR BED!.. ITS 9:30! U SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN BED ALREADY!!!!"my mom called from down stairs
    "BUT MOM! 5 MORE MINUTES! ITS MY FAVORITE SONG!"
    "NO BUTS! TIME FOR BED!"
    I sighed and walked over to the radio and turned it off. I checked to see if the alarm was set for 6:00 am,then i walked to my bed and plopped my self on it realizing my cat was there. I looked over at my bed room door and i heard my mom walking up the stairs to check i was already in bed...
    -knock- -knock-
    "come in" i yelled from the other side of the door.
    then my mom walked in still in her work clothes but with an apron on with her yellow rubber gloves still wet from just finishing from washing the dishes.
    "have a good night baby" she said while she sat at the end of the bed,also taking off her wet gloves. I sighed and laid down.
    "You brushed your teeth?"
    "Yes mama"
    "You washed your face"
    "YES MAMA!" i said kinda loud and annoyed
    "Hey ,don't you yell at me Missy.. I'm just asking if u did all those things"
    She also started to raise her voice
    "Sorry mama" I said right after she scolded me. Then she got up and kissed my forehead and whispered:' Its your birthday tomorrow.. maybe ill call my boss to see if I can call in sick and take you out to the movies.. and u can skip school"
    "Why do u have to call? Why can't u just not go?" I asked with so much curiosity, trying to understand the way of the adult world... (to be continued in chapter 2... plz comment)
