Chapter I- The Years
The years are flying by to fast. I've grown old. My grand children don't visit me like they used to. I want time to stop. I want to do all the things I've wanted to do, but what can I do?
This may seem a little crazy, but I hear voices saying things like, "Come home, we miss you." and "Come old woman. We need you." I get scared when I hear them. Some times the voices are nice, some times they're mean.
But the years have done that to me. The years are killing me. I love my life and all who walk with me. I love the years, but like I said, they kill me.
I want my family by my side on my final days. I've already written my will.
Chapter II- The Family Visits
Today, my youngest family memebers visit. The shyest of them all, Shannon, I know she loves me, she just doesn't say it. Her older sister, Magret or Maggie for short, is laid back and like her sister, hardly talks. I feel like they don't know me. I feel like they want to know me, but their afraid to get to know me.
My child, Mel, has come to visit as well. I can't help but feel like I've forgotten her some how. I don't know what she's been doing with her life or how she's been. But I'm gald she came.
My best friend, Linda and her hubadnd, Vern, have come to visit me as well. I don't know Vern as well as I'd like, but time has it's own plans.
Chapter III- The Anual Vacation
Today is Memorial Day, the first day of the year when my family visits Ogalala, Nebraska. We visit a lake there. It's a family thing, but we always bring friends. Some people only stay a day or two, but the rest saty three days.
Soemt imes there are nice little camp fires and the younger kids make s'mores adn have fun telling ghost stories. Shannon, because she doesn't like chocolate or marshmellow's, she always leaves the fire to come as us if one of us would like it. Her cousin Larry always takes it.
We also visit the lake on Labor day as well. Larry alasy brings his jetskis. His kids have fun tipping them while his cousins always want a ride adn want to tip the jetskis. We love the kids.
Vern has a boat that Shannon's terrified to go on. She'll change her mind eventually. Maggie, being the dare-devil, loves it. She'll stick her head over the side and yell "Wooohoo!" as loud as she can.
Chapter IIII- My Deathbed
I lie here on my deathbed, alone in this small nursing home room, slowly dying. My family is not here beacuse it is 3 in the moring and I can't get up to get to the phone.
My family visited earlier today and said good bye to me for the last time. Shannon, being her shy self, never said a word to me and gave me a gentle hug as if she might break me. I never wanted her to feel like she would break me, but I don't want to break her heart.
I can feel my life slipping, slowly realeasing me into the morning. I can feel the angels by me, waiting to guide me to heaven.
I... I... I'm flying to heaven. Flying to my final resting place. Flying home.
I'll miss my life on earth, but soem things are best left behind.

- Description: Um, what to say about his? Well, it's about my grandmother and about how she died. I never wanted her to leave, but I can't stop any thing. I wanted to tell her how much I loved her before she died. I never got the chance to, though. I wanted to make her last moments fun, but she went to quickly. Yes, this is a fiction story about her life, but I loved her and I wanted to document some thing for her and of her.
