• Chapter Two:Thirteen

"Sabrina wake up!"Sabrina's Mother called cheerily."Ugh its to early you people are crazy" I grumbled.
"Well i did try to wake you twice already your thirteenth birthday is today remember lazy bones"Mom said.
"Your party's at five its three o'clock now get in the shower and change ok"She said.
I got undressed and stepped on the shower floor it was still wet from my brothers bath.
I started it up and felt the water it was warm it felt so warm on my head and back.
I washed my hair and then I started thinking about my birthday.
My mother says after my birthday everything will change I never believed her I should have
I went upstairs and sat down on my bed turned off my t.v and opened the closet.
I grabbed my blanket threw it on my bed and told my mom and brother goodnight.
Sat down on my bed thought about my dream and was ready to embrace it like always.
So I closed my eyes and like always i felt the warmth of the sun on my back and my feet in a river.
I saw a river full of fish it was night time in my dream though i felt the sun and its warmth.
There where fireflies like always i could think in my dream so i thought about the day like always.
I usually had my birthday on a different day than my real one but i had it on it today.
When i was done I usually look at the water and see a leaf but this time it was a reflection.
It was a fox with two tails I had stood up in the dream by surprise but the fox kept looking forward.
I turned around in curiosity I saw a Door that was never there before
The Door was Dark blue with metal gold stars on it and a key hole in the middle of the door.
The fox walked forward in a slow pace stopped in the middle and then looked at me.
I froze in fear."Come"said a voice I looked around trying to find out who
The Fox walked up to me and looked up."I said It"He said.
Shocked I backed up."Come with me"Said the fox."I wish to show you something"He said.
Still tense i walked slowly when we got to the river the fox had stopped again.
I was going to say something but Then He said to walk to the water.
Being scared I nodded and walked forward.
He sat down and told me to kneel down and hold out my hand.
So i did as he asked he lightly touched the water and told me to do the same.
When i touched the water It began to shine very brightly.I covered my eyes.
Then slowly opened them my eyes widened as a bridge began to take form over the water.
Curious i walked forward The fox followed behind me i walked to the door then stopped.
The fox walked in front of me went to the side a little then told me to place my finger on a star.
I looked at the fox and nodded then placed my finger on a star next to the moon at the top.
The fox smiled and looked at my necklace confused i looked down.
My necklace began to glow a bright White color then pointed at the key hole in the middle of the door.
Then i looked at it and grabbed it it burned so i unhooked the necklace and held it tightly by the clasp.
Then i looked at the fox and put it in front of his face."What am i supposed to do"i asked.
Then he took the key by the mouth and shoved it in the keyhole without getting burned.
"Turn It"He said "But ill get burned"I said "Just trust me"He said.
For some reason i did trust him he made me feel like i used to around grandma.
I nodded and reached out then brought my hand back hesitating looked over at the fox he nodded.
I reached out ready to get burned i grabbed the key nothing happened i tensed and turned the key.
It got bright and i couldn't see then the door was open and the fox was gone.
I had looked at the door at that moment i knew something was calling me to it like a voice.
I felt sort curious so i reached my hand into the darkness of the door.
As i looked at my hand through the door is looked sorta funny.
Like how it looks when you stick your hand in the water, wavy and smooth.
With no where else to go i walked in.
