It was a cold day. Very cold.
The odd thing was, I could see no sun.
Imagine, on this hike, you're crossing a bridge, slowly walking across and the world is gray.
At the moment- the very moment you glanced down at the still, pure water, the sun broke free of the clouds and reflected in the river. You capture its winking ray.
When you quickly glance up at the sky, the clouds have covered it again, and that fleeting moment of brightness is gone. - Date: 08/25/2009
