For spring break this year I visited many cities in Germany. This is a picture of the love locks that decorate the Hohenzollernbrücke (Hohenzollern Bridge) in the city of Köln (Cologne).
Love locks are a way of symbolizing eternal love. A couple would inscribe their initials on a padlock and then hang it on a bridge or a chain. Then they would throw away the key so that their love is locked forever. - Date: 07/11/2009
