During the summer (of '08) my family and I stayed at the Quinault Lodge in the Olympic National Forest. It was a pleasantly warm evening and we had been listening to a woman from the Quinault tribe tell stories; the sun was just beginning to set behind the mountains. It was so beautiful how the sunlight branched off into rays of light. Only one word can describe it's beauty: breathtaking.
And just for the record, no photo manipulation was used.
