- Title: Dragonfly Hatchling
- Artist: Trillium_Fae
- Description: This dragonfly has just emerged from it's excuvae (a terrestrial outer shell it lives in before it develops wings) and is perched upon my hand to dry its new wings in the sunlight. In 30 minutes, the wings became strong and straight it the dragonfly flew away.

- Thanks! And pk46- the dragonfly hatched onto my hand... I couldn't move it because it was too fragile! xd Yes, I was stuck there for a half hour while it dried out. hehe

- nice but I think it would look better in a tree branch or a leaf instead of a hand, it doesn't feel natural... just my opinion

That is really cool! How often does someone get to see something like that!?! >< I'm such a bug person.. XP It's weird... lol Great photo, it really shows the details of the dragonfly... I can see all the little vein-like things in its wings... *woah*... ><
