This was one of my drawings for the compilation of 25 drawings under one theme. The theme was of your own choice, and I chose "turning reality into fantasy." and i localized it to Philippines. these are one of my works--Fernando Amorsolo's "The Filipina", coming to life and in an environment of fantasy. you could say she is the guardian of the creatures there...
I used Oil pastel, and it's pretty challenging to imitate Amorsolo's work (which was originally in oil on canvas) using these. - Date: 11/06/2008
