I think that the blood on/around his feet just
emphasizes the fact that he is good at what he
does, and that the blood/death od others consumes
him in a way that even he may not understand. Or
maybe I'm getting all poetic and reading too much
into it? Still great picture, and I love the
effect the words have. They really fit the
