try and talk about exactly what you like about the
picture; is it the hair? the eyes? the
background?
if you are critiquing, start with
something you like about the picture, then mention
specifically what you don't like. (eg. the hair is

I like your use of color in the background and
your use of color for the character, but I think
they should match up more tone wise. The
background is too dull and washed out compared to
the character. I really like her cute outfit. I
also like the amount of details that you included.
Shouldn't she be paler or in a coat. It seems
awfully cold for that little amount of
