[Avari Fusion] (C) vs Tiger Hat

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger landed hard against Avari and - inevitably - the barricade he was being supported by. Thudding to the ground, on his back, he instinctively tried to push himself up, managing to get as far as a seated position before falling back, leaning against the barricade to prop himself up. He eyed the ref who had come to check on them, shaking his head; there was no way he was quitting, not before he was holding the title.

Avari groaned and turned a little, his arm moving slowly to the small of his back to help support the pain that was there.

The crowd, meanwhile, were enjoying every moment of this epic bout.

"Ho-ly s**t! Ho-ly s**t!" chants rang across the entire stadium!

Tiger turned his body, gripping the top of the barricade. He tentatively began to stand, pulling himself to his feet. He sluggishly turned to Avari, limping towards him, with the intent to pull him up to his feet.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

The crowd continued their chanting as the ref implored both men to get back into the ring. Avari provided no fight back as Tiger slowly brought him back to a standing base.

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

Tiger was completely ignoring the referee, who had neglected to officially start a ten-count. Perhaps subconsciously he knew that a double count-out finish at the biggest show of the year would just not suffice.

Once Avari was on his feet, Tiger would reach for his arm, intending to launch him towards the ringpost with an Irish whip!  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Fans at ringside were imploring, even screaming, at Avari to get back and do something. But, alas, it seemed as though Tiger Hat was in full control at this point in the matchup.

Tiger gripped Avari's wrist and began to throw him towards the ringpost, a determined and steely look in his eyes, one that showed the damage he was willing to inflict to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

But.. Avari planted his feet as he was swung, reversing the grip on Tiger, and countering into an Irish Whip of his own!

Time almost moved in slow motion as Avari finally grasped the advantage. Tiger was thrown into the ring post, colliding hard as a metallic ring echoed out, signalling a turning point. The crowd instantly came alive with cheer as their hero finally turned the tide in his favour.

Tiger, seemingly made of rubber at this point, bounced off of the ring post. Clutching at his shoulder - the point of impact - he stumbled towards the area where the ring bell was located, finding support by resting on the barricade nearby.

Avari immediately stumbled back into the barricade as he flung Tiger across the ringpost, watching as his contender ended up crashing into the barricade near the timekeeper's area.

The fans nearby reached down and gave him hearty encouragement and taps on the shoulder, as he eyed up an opportunity.

A golden opportunity.

Pushing himself back to his feet, Avari threw his arms out wide in an eagle motion..

And sprinted at Tiger Hat, looking to Spear him through the barricade!

Holding himself in pain, Tiger turned back to where Avari was stood, both arms now leaning on the barricade. What was his support would soon become his downfall, as it left him completely prone as the eagle swooped towards him, driving him through the barricade.

The barricade collapsed, leaving debris and a broken man in its wake. Tiger lay motionless in the rubble, his ears ringing, only faintly making out the roar around him:

"Holy sh#t! Holy sh#t!"  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari crashed through Tiger, and then through the barricade, as they both landed in a heap near the crowd. The audience were loving every moment of this, as their chants continued.

The Champion groaned and rolled onto his back, looking up at the bright overhanging lights in the stadium. He had to get back to his feet, to do something..

The referee, meanwhile, had actually exited the ring now and was running over to check on both men.

Tiger lay motionless. He raised his arm in the air, in a feeble attempt to get up, but it quickly dropped back to the ground. The momentum was now squarely in Avari's favour, assuming he wasn't too injured to capitalise on it.

Avari was, in fact, feeling the pain.. and was struggling to get back to his feet.

He did finally get back to a standing base as the ref was imploring them to tone the pace of the fight down but, clearly, that wasn't going to happen tonight.

This was the Main Event.

Fusion got up to his feet and raised a fist in the air, to a thunderous applause and cheer from the crowd.

But he wasn't done there.. he went to grab Tiger by his neck and start pulling him up to his feet.

Tiger was groggy, and barely had the strength to stand. He stood, limply, looking like he'd just spent a night in Vegas. He pushed his arms out, weakly trying to push Avari away.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari felt Tiger limply try to push him away, and retaliated with a stiff right towards his head.

If that connected, he would look to throw Tiger over the next set of barricades and into the crowd!

 

[Extremist-Saint-Joey]

The blow connected against Tiger's skull, throwing him backwards; he was already on his way over the barricade when Avari threw him, ensuring he went over them. He nearly landed on his feet - as all good cats should - but stumbled from the momentum, as he walked into the crowd, trying to distance himself from his opponent.
